Last November, LuZhiWen from ArtNetWorking, successfully held an exhibition entitled "A Chinese Painter Looks at Shanghai and Europe" at the Paris International Arts City and the famous Latin Quarter Gallery Street in Paris. We see here a selection of paintings from that exhibition.

"European & Asian inter-change: A Merger of East & West" is the sequel to last year's "Sino-France Culture Exchange Year" activities. In this exhibition, we can enjoy masterpieces from the artist's series "Traveling Europe", "Water Countryside"and "ShiKuMen". In these paintings LuZhiWen successfully blends a wide range of artistic skills - line, color and ink shading. His artistic abilities and position as one of China's leading artists, allow him to present views of both Europe and Shanghai in a new and vivid light.

LuZhiWen graduated from the Chinese Painting Department of the College of Fine Arts. His artistic abilities and his extensive study of traditional Chinese painting techniques and styles and Xuan paper, have allowed him to develop his own distinctive and highly skilled style. His works not only convey the enthusiasm of youth, but also reflect a modern conception of life and beauty.
