Throughout my life I feel that I was being lead to fulfill my dream. The profound and mysterious cultures of the orient have been a tremendous influence on me since my youth. In high school, most of my portraits were of "Flying Angels" and I was commended for my work by Senator Barry Goldwater. He also encouraged me to pursue art. I was awarded in many Art Exhibitions,too. In college, I was selected to represent the Republic of China in the 13th International Mr. & Ms. University Beauty Pageant. At the pageant, I was awarded a special prize for my art works. After I graduated from college, I had the urge to see the world, so I decided to become a flight attendant. This allowed to support myself while satisfying my curiosities about the various cultures and customs of the world. later, I became a news reporter. I hosted and anchored many programs. These experiences have greatly added to my creativity and artistic skills. They allow me to look at people and objects from different perspectives, give me a deeper understanding of what I see, and help me to express myself with distinct techniques.
