| Biography: |
Min Zhang was born in Shanghai in 1956. Zhang holds degrees from Shanghai Textiles Industrial Technology Institute 1982 and Shanghai Arts and Crafts School 1976. Zhang's work has been included in The 8th China Fine Arts Exhibition in Denmark, 1986; Shanghai University Fine Arts Exhibition, New York University, New York City, 1986; and The 1st Shanghai Youth Fine Arts Exhibition, Shanghai Art Museum, 1985. He's won awards in the 24th Asia Modern Art Exhibition, Tokoy Art Museum, 1988. Zhang's sculpture evokes the contemporary desire to expel the "shout hidden deeply in the heart". |
