| Biography: |
Lin XiMing was born at Xishan Village, Vuniu Town, Yongjia County, Zhejiang Province. He studied ancient Chinese articles and proses in rural private schools. Learned to draw Chinese paintings from masters. Held individual painting exhibition in Wenzhou, Zhejiang. He was editor of fine arts for newspapers and publishing houses in Hangzhou and Shanghai, painter of Shanghai Chinese Painting Academy, teacher of the Department of Fine Arts, Shanghai Drama Institute. Held individual painting exhibition in Shanghai. Made academic tour to Japan. Published "Lin XiMing's picture Album" and "Lin XiMing's Paper-cut works Album". He won prizes "for the 20th Achievements", and "for Golden Record of Acievements" awarded by the U.S. Biographic Institute. Listed in "the Chinese Artists over the World" and the 3rd edition of "the International Celebrities of Outstandim Achievements" published by the British International Biographical Centre. Listed in the 3rd edition of " the International leader of Achievements" published by the British International Biographical Centre and "the 500 Men of the Hour" published by the U.S. Biographical Institute. |
